All fittings are made from solid aluminium, stainless steel and zinc alloy - and will retain their natural finish in all climatic conditions.
All permanent joints are morticed and tenoned, then glued with a special epoxy resin - designed to flex with the timber movement. The table and chairs are designed to 'twist' on uneven surfaces, such as stone patios, to eliminate table or chairs rocking.
All Fabrics are 100% acrylic fibre on chairs upholstery, cushions and umbrellas. The Fabric is air permeable, rot proof and colour fast. Devon have been using this acrylic for over 30 years and believe there is no point in putting a inferior cloth on a quality frame. Covers have been known to last upwards of 15 years.
Clean by either water-blasting or a soap in warm water.
The construction Kwila timber used is Rot Proof - and will never slpit or crack over time. If left untreated ( by oiling ) it will change to a natural silver-grey colour. Oiling will assist in maintaining the original colour longer.
The Kwila used is resistant to decay and insect attack - found across Asia and the Pacific and is commonly used for wharf construction.
